Pursuing a four-year degree or enrolled in a graduate program.The internship program begins with a mandatory Orientation and ends with mandatory project presentations.Start dates may be flexible depending on individual circumstances, pending ability to attend Orientation. The summer internship program is 10 weeks beginning in June and ending in early August. You will meet customers and gain a greater understanding of American AgCredit's life of the loan processes. You will be supported with on-the-job training, one-to-one mentoring with experienced leaders, and have opportunities to build your skills through hands-on experience and meaningful agriculture-focused project work. As an intern, you will spend time training on basic credit underwriting skills, performing sales calls with the lending staff, and observing inspections with the appraisers. The Credit/Lending summer internship program will provide students with direct and relevant work experience in the areas of both underwriting and lending, while gaining exposure to the other areas of our "Go-To-Market" department, including Operations and Appraisal.
